Description of First Aid Measures

Inhalation: remove to fresh air. Consult a doctor if the symptoms persist, treat symptomatically.

Eye contact: In case of contact with molten material contact a physician immediately. Rinse thoroughly with water for more than 15 minutes.
In case of contact with the substance in a solid or dusty state, rinse thoroughly with water.
Remove contact lenses.

Skin contact: wash with soap and water. In case of contact with molten material, contact a physician immediately, cool the molten material in contact with skin as quickly as possible. The doctor will have to deal with the removal of the molten material and the care of the burn.

Ingestion: contact a physician.

The material can be a source of ignition as it can be electrostatically charged. A grounding system needs to be adopted.

Suitable extinguishing media: CO2 (carbon dioxide), water, powder extinguisher.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: gases produced by the combustion process can contain hazardous substances, such as CO, CO2, CH3COOH.

Advice for fire-fighters: wear suitable protective clothing and self-breathing apparatus.
